Essai de Fromage
Just stumbled across her Majesty the Cheese Queen’s blog and there she have listed a few level of ‘exam’ to test how cheesable are you to be qualified to be a so-called Ringoist (a cult of her own) member. Since I am taking a break of my stuff, I decided to give it ago – just for fun of it and here are my test results..
Level 1 = American Cheese
You are american cheese! You are a smooth, lightly colored, square-shaped cheese. You are a classic simple cheese. You are cautious and practical and very down to earth. American Cheese is smooth, with light, yellow or orange color. The cheese is usually cut into square slices and it does not separate when melted. It has a mild taste. [ Country: United States || Texture: semi-soft.
Level 2 = The Family Man (Cheeses that suits me: Cheddar (yes! Somerset rules!), Colby, Colby Jack, Havarti, Monterey Jack, & Swiss)
You are very family oriented and spend most of your time caring for loved ones. Whether it’s volleyball practice, playgroup or a family picnic, it seems you and your family are always on the go. Your favorite meals are quick, satisfying to the whole family and often include casseroles, lasagnas and pre-prepared dishes. When it comes to cheese, you tend to favor processed varieties, such as American cheese, that are easily incorporated into family fare.
If you prefer to stick to what’s easy but crave some variety, try serving a delicious, on-the-go snacking alternative like string cheese. Pre-cubed Cheddar and Co-Jack cheeses are great on their own, but also serve as a perfect complement to any dish. Or, add a flavored variety of a favorite cheese, like Salsa Cheddar and Pesto Monterey Jack, into your repertoire.
If breakfast needs to be portable, stuff a warm tortilla with a thin omelet made with Colby cheese. When afternoon hunger pangs strike, American or Cheddar cheese slices sandwiched between apple wedges make a great midday snack. And when it’s your turn to be soccer mom or dad, bring the team bite-sized snacks-on-a-stick prepared by alternating pieces of fruit, such as grapes and pineapple chunks, with cubes of Cheddar, Swiss or Havarti.
Level 3 = YOU ARE A CHEESEBURGER!!
This is helluva stupid quiz!
You are very Kind to people most of the time. You stick tight to one group, however. You also have one Best Friend (The Beef!) But that’s OK! You’re a reliable and nice person, and can be counted on for lots of stuff. Almost Everyone likes you!

What Kind of ~~CHEESE~~ are you? brought to you by Quizilla
16/16 – Stupid quiz. Being 6 years in England, those postbox are an everyday thang to me. Even to have answered 1 wrongly, i should have jump off a Whitsand Bay cliff to death cos no point of getting it even 1 wrong. LOL
9/10 – Quite challenging quiz with common questions. I got 9/10 right on Anne’s Quiz on Cheese.
I was told: “You must make Brie de Meaux, the King of Cheeses.”
Very good quiz. Since it involves history, this bit is one of the most interesting & informative.
You scored 5 out of a possible 8. Could do better. You’re an amateur when it comes to cheese identification: you may even, heavens forbid, buy your cheese ready-grated.
Very cheesingly tough. But I ‘tembak’-ed most of it, and my scores are;
You Scored: 8/10
Total points: 80
The average score for this quiz: 4/10
Everyday is a learning curve. At least i know I did, for this cheesy bit. Ringoism for me? No thanks. Heaven forbid. I am happy with my Wutangism.
