Artūras Zuokas: The Coolest Vilnius Mayor

Vilnius Mayor Arturas Zuokas waged war on errant motorist by taking matters in his own hand by running over offender’s cars with an army APC. Zuokas is sick and fedup of rich motorist who occasionally paraded their cars deliberately in the no-parking zone.

Therefore he is sending his message across in the most stylish way – running over them! This is one Mayor who really listens to his people. I hope his bravery will be a good role-model for Malaysian local councilors and mayors even though his actions are tad radical!

Zuokas said “I wanted to send a message” Zuokas allegedly told the media. “I want to point out that if you have a car and more money it doesn’t mean that you can park it everywhere. Recently there’s been an increase in this type of parking violations, and it shows a lack of respect for others.”

From now one, errant motorist will realize that when their mayor is down the road patrolling in his bicycle, he really meant business! Check the video after the jump!
